Evangel Christian School Tutorials Rules

  • Each tutorial course has its annual fee, which must be paid in full to the instructor, even if, for any reason, withdrawal occurs before the end of the year. 
  • The Evangel facility fee of $150 for non-ECS students and $25 for ECS families is due by the first day of class. It can be paid at the annual Tutorials Meeting, brought to your first tutorial class, or mailed to ECS. Please note “tutorial facility fee” and the “student(s) name” in the memo portion of your check. Payments can also be made through PayPal at office@evangelhomeschool.org. NO CASH. 
  • Most courses will be full-credit and meet for the entire school year. 
  • Late assignment submissions and unexcused class absences will result in academic penalties to be determined by the individual instructor. 
  • Instructors will return graded assignments and tests to the students. They will also issue 9-weeks grades. Parents should record the provided grade on the grade submission form (report card) required by their particular cover school.  It is not the instructors' responsibility to report grades to ECS. 
  • Driving Rules for parents and driving students:
    • Enter and exit from the back entrance of the church property.
    • Enter and leave the parking lot under ten mph. Small children are consistently present. Speeding will result in revoked driving privileges.
    • Do not go to the church or ECCS playgrounds or buildings. 
    • Do not hang out in the parking lot. 
  • Instructors use email to communicate any unannounced schedule changes or important information. Check it regularly. 
  • Modest dress (as dictated by Scripture) is required for all. 
  • Students staying on campus between classes must stay in the building and use their time constructively.
